Upcoming Indie Games for 2024 and Beyond

More Indie games news, Kickstarters, and announcements have come our way since the start of 2023, here is a small list of what I'm most excited about:

Touchstarved

Touchstarved's Kickstarter just ended with 13,302 backers pledging $823,302. They hit all their stretch goals including making a Nintendo Switch port for the game.

Camper Van: Make it Home

Malapata Studio

Release Date: 2024

Camper Van: Make it Home is a video game about camperizing your own van, where you will embark on a journey of personal discovery while you decorate and create a space for all your belongings.

This satisfying game invites you to create your own home space in a van combining elements of block organization puzzle games and interior design. Decorate and organize all your objects while you discover step by step what led our protagonist to embark on this journey.

As of today, their Kickstarter has 11 days left with 5 of 9 stretch goals unlocked (including a Nintendo Switch port) and has raised $42,777

Camper Van: Make it Home will be available on for Steam on Windows and Mac, as well as on mobile platforms. In addition, since it met the stretch goal, it will also be available for Nintendo Switch.

Aunty Games

Gourdlets is a city-building sandbox. Place buildings and scenery, and then watch visiting gourdlets arrive and interact with the world. No objectives, no points, just building.

Gourdlets is being developed by Preethi Vaidyanathan (she/her) aka AuntyGames, a software engineer based in the United States.
